The Luck of Platform Marketing
St. Paddy’s Day is around the corner and that inspired me to think about how platform marketing is really it’s on the concept of fortune and prosperity. One symbol that sticks out the most to me when thinking about this is the four-leaf clover. The four-leaf clover for centuries has been a symbol of warding off bad luck and bringing fortune, so it only makes perfect sense that most profit baring digital marketing tactics, all synergistically form a four-leafed companionship. These four platforms are Search, Social, Programmatic, and Message marketing.
These four powerhouses combine to make a perfect combination of marketing and advertising success. If you don’t have a clean and concise connection to each of these platforms, you are unfortunately not converting potential customers/clients into loyal returning customers. People are busy! We have a lot going on day-to-day. We need to be reminded that our favorite brands are thinking about us and are innovating how they can make our lives simpler, convenient, and happier. Why does anyone fall into a purchasing funnel? because they have found something that they know is going to do one of those 3 things.
Is your brand making it as easy as possible for your customers? Does your online sales process track and optimize your user engagement and the conversion process? These are all questions that marketers and brands should be asking themselves. Let take a look at how these platforms connect and form their own four-leafed lucky charm.
